Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), a part of Dover, has partnered with self-ordering technologies provider GRUBBRR to launch a new solution for convenience stores and fuelling stations.           

Dubbed DX Market, the new self-ordering solution will be powered by GRUBBRR and launched within the DFS Anthem UX platform on the Wayne Ovation fuel dispenser.

According to Dover, the solution will drive revenue growth for fuel retailers as it enables customers to order food and shop for products while filling gas.

In addition, retailers can offer customisable promotions and upsell opportunities through video and static content.

DFS global business development vice-president Kurt Dillen said: “DFS Anthem UX is a powerful tool for retailers to drive foot traffic into their stores and increase sales for promoted items.

“Integrating GRUBBRR’s self-ordering technology into DFS’s Anthem UX platform, DX Market will enable customers to make purchases before stepping into the store, allowing for a quicker, more streamlined experience and increased satisfaction. With many gas station owners making a majority of their money in retail, we expect a meaningful impact on revenues.”

DX Market powered by GRUBBRR will first be rolled out in select fuel stations in the US. It will be expanded globally in the future.
