Fabindia Overseas CEO Viney Singh told PTI: “The Fabindia Experience Centre houses a Fabcafe, an interior design studio, organic wellness centre and an alteration studio.

“This will be the first phase and we aim to take it to other cities as well, following this.”

Extending the focus on health and wellbeing, the experience centre has a designated space for Organic India’s first wellness store in Mumbai.

“This will be the first phase and we aim to take it to other cities as well, following this.”

With the wellness centre, customers will be able to interact with trained consultants on different aspects of health, lifestyle and wellbeing.

An interior design studio within the new store provides several services such as consultancy on layouts, mapping spaces, product customisation and colour scheme coordination.

The company plans to open ten similar stores by the end of next year across the cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.

Earlier this year, Fabindia opened one store in Delhi.

The retailer currently has 268 stores and 50 of them are said to be through the franchise model.

Fabindia currently has 11 global stores and has no international expansion plans.
