American manufacturer Hershey has expanded its online Hershey Solutions portal by adding a product ordering feature for retailers.

Starting this year, convenience-store owners using the platform can access the online ordering capability to increase product speed to shelf.

Hershey sales planning C-store senior manager Gwen Andrews said: “We want to see our convenience store partners continue to grow and are proud to be investing in capabilities that will help them drive trips, build baskets and ultimately maximise sales and profits.

“Our Hershey Solutions portal allows us to help thousands of retailers each day, providing them access to category management insights, merchandising, new product news and now online ordering.”

Contracted retailers can also use the platform to access updates to Retailer Rewards rebate status.
