US-based department store chain Lord & Taylor has partnered with Walmart to launch its online fashion store on Walmart’s website.

The new flagship store will expand Walmart’s everyday fashion portfolio and will run alongside each Premium Brand page.

Walmart currently operates two types of fashion stores, Everyday Brands and Premium Brands, on its website.

“The new experience is aligned with how customers shop the category, with editorial elements that inspire customers to browse and buy, and has already generated positive customer response.”

The department store chain will feature various lifestyle products, including clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, and jewellery under women, men and kids categories on the new flagship store.

More than 125 fashion brands will be available on the online store, including Tommy Bahama, Vince Camuto, Miss Selfridge, La La Anthony, Lucky Brand and H Halston and Effy.

In addition to Lord & Taylor products, Walmart will feature watches, luggage and travel, seasonal shops and premium beauty categories on the new store.

“The next step is the launch of the Lord & Taylor flagship store, which introduces exciting new premium brands to our customers.”

As part of the partnership, both companies are offering a free two-day shipping service for orders above $35 on the store.

Established in 1826, Lord & Taylor offers premium fashion apparel and accessories at its 48 full-line locations in the northeastern and mid-Atlantic US, as well as on its website.
