M&D Distributors selects Mi9 e-Commerce to increase digital presence

Omnichannel retail solution provider Mi9 Retail has announced that diesel-engine components and services provider M&D Distributors has selected its Mi9 e-Commerce solution to run its digital business.

Mi9 e-Commerce is a cloud-based solution developed for e-commerce needs, such as order management, customer relationship management and content management.

According to M&D Distributors, the company’s current solution lacked modern e-commerce functionality and could not support customer’s marketing campaigns.

“Mi9 e-Commerce was one of the few vendors we evaluated that was flexible enough to support the sale and management of ‘core parts’.”

The company has chosen Mi9 solution to upgrade its direct-to-customer (D2C) business.

M&D Distributors CEO Trey Ingram said: “Mi9 e-Commerce was one of the few vendors we evaluated that was flexible enough to support the sale and management of ‘core parts’ – a common practice in the diesel parts business and something that was essential for us.

“While the software’s capabilities were important, we were also evaluating companies based on their people, and the Mi9 team of e-Commerce professionals won our business by respecting our budget and timeline, while addressing the functionality that mattered most to our business.”

M&D Distributors expects the new solution to allow it to control its website without relying on third-party developers, improve conversion rates, optimise e-commerce traffic and increase average order value.

Mi9 Retail CEO Neil Moses said: “The Mi9 e-Commerce platform will enable M&D to showcase its brand without increasing development costs, which will in turn allow it to achieve higher ROI year after year.”
