Omnichannel retail solution provider Mi9 Retail has launched its fiscal solution, Electronic Fiscal Register (EFR), for retailers in Austria, Czech Republic and France.

EFR is a fiscal middleware component developed in collaboration with EFSTA to support retailers by signing transactions electronically, storing them in the EFSTA cloud and submitting them to the tax authorities.

Integrated with Mi9 Retail point of sale solution, the EFR solution enables retailers to reduce the initial development and maintenance costs and have a centralised repository for tax collection and remittance.

“As a fast-growing company with a solid international customer base, we respect the importance of complying with local laws and regulations.”

Mi9 Retail CEO Neil Moses said: “As a fast-growing company with a solid international customer base, we respect the importance of complying with local laws and regulations.

“Our partnership with EFSTA will bring peace of mind to our European customers who rely on us to meet their evolving fiscal needs.

“We’re pleased to be partnering with EFSTA on this project and feel confident that their extensive experience with fiscalisation will prove to be a valuable asset to retailers.”

Retailers can also eliminate the need for storing and encrypting transaction data on premise as the data stored in the EFSTA Secure Enterprise Cloud solution for up to ten years.

In addition, Mi9 is planning to launch the EFR fiscal solution for additional countries in Europe.

EFSTA IT services general manager Harald Krondorfer said: “We are happy to be a strategic partner to Mi9 Retail as they expand their market reach with a focus on Europe.

“With the expansion of VAT reporting across the 27 European Union countries, we look forward to helping Mi9 Retail and their customers to meet these new and evolving fiscal compliance regulations with our joint solution.”
