Saudi Arabian retail mall operator Arabian Centres (ACCL) has announced plans to use the cloud-based Yardi Voyager 7S solution to improve retail lifecycle management.

As part of its digital transformation programme, the company will adopt a single technology platform to manage the retail lifecycle of 19 malls.

Arabian Centres CIO Rashed Alothman said: “Yardi’s single platform approach will enable us to manage many aspects of the retail lifecycle through a single solution.

“This partnership further reflects our approach and commitment to develop innovative solutions that meet the regional needs of specific real estate markets.”

“We will be able to drive further efficiencies to many aspects of retail mall management including the leasing process, unit marketing, facility management and also use business intelligence to aid our future real estate strategy.”

The Voyager lease administration system is claimed to form the backbone of the commercial billing process, which accommodates indexation, complex recoveries, retail overages and multi-currency leases.

It serves as an automated leasing workflow and allows lease administrators to establish terms of complicated industrial, office, and retail leases and amendments.

Yardi international vice-president Neal Gemassmer said: “We are very honoured to be given the opportunity to work with Arabian Centres.

“This partnership further reflects our approach and commitment to develop innovative solutions that meet the regional needs of specific real estate markets.”

ACCL provides a complete range of retail malls to customers in Saudi Arabia to satisfy all shopping needs and market requirements.

Opened in 2002, the company’s first project Sahara plaza represents the starting point for all 19 malls that offer shopping, dining and entertainment experience.
