US-based prepaid product and transaction services company InComm has signed a five-year partnership with Ipiranga in Brazil.

A unit of Brazilian fuel distributor Ultra, Ipiranga manages its chain of convenience stores.

With this new partnership, InComm will expand its international network and differentiate Ipiranga for selling gift cards at service stations.

Ipiranga retail director Jeronimo Santos said: "Partnering with InComm adds to our strategy in differentiating ourselves in the market by offering a diversified range of innovative products and services.

"Our partnership with Ipiranga allows us to further cement our position as the top prepaid player in Brazil."

InComm’s prepaid cards will be now sold at more than 2,000 Ipiranga convenience stores.
