E-commerce solutions provider ChannelAdvisor has entered a strategic partnership with eBay, in order to execute programmes to enable client growth in both companies.

ChannelAdvisor's cloud-based e-commerce solutions allow retailers to integrate and maximise their sales across online platforms, including eBay.

Commenting on the partnership, ChannelAdvisor CEO David Spitz said: “Since our founding 16 years ago, eBay has been a core partner to ChannelAdvisor.

“This strategic partnership will allow us to more closely work with the eBay team to help drive growth for our mutual customers on eBay.”

“We have worked with ChannelAdvisor since their beginning and have always valued them as a trusted and reliable partner for us."

ChannelAdvisor has earlier associated with eBay to support its Promoted Listings, which is an advertising programme that reportedly offers highly visible placements to seller listings based on a cost-per-sale model.

In addition to supporting eBay Promoted Listings through the API, ChannelAdvisor reviewed and assisted in shaping technical documentation for the feature.

ChannelAdvisor also launched its repricing tool Algorithmic Repricer for eBay to maximise margin for sellers through machine learning and real-time analytics.

eBay North America senior vice-president Hal Lawton said: “We have worked with ChannelAdvisor since their beginning and have always valued them as a trusted and reliable partner for us, as well as our sellers.

“We look forward to helping our joint customers grow their businesses and expand their marketplace presence.”
