C&S Wholesale Grocers has chosen online shopping platform Rosie to provide e-commerce and omnichannel digital marketing programmes to its independent grocery retail clients across the US.
The grocery supply company will leverage the partnership to provide the online solution to more than 3,000 stores, enabling them to improve customer base and enhance revenues.
Rosie CEO Nick Nickitas said: "Offering e-commerce is crucial for independents to remain competitive, especially during a time when the industry is evolving quickly.
“We are excited to team up with C&S to establish winning digital strategies, develop innovative technology, implement omnichannel marketing programmes, and provide world-class support to help these grocers compete against corporate chains."
Rosie has already entered into partnerships with seven C&S retail customers, who have either deployed the solution or are in the process of doing so.
P&C Fresh Markets owner Greg Young said: "Rosie has given us the ability to have an online option with capabilities that our largest chain competitors do not have.
“The Rosie platform continues to grow and evolve, staying in tune with the ever-changing needs of online shoppers."
Established in 1918, C&S supplies to more than 14,000 independent supermarkets, chain stores, military bases, and institutions.
