Netflix has announced plans to raise €1bn ($1.07bn) through a private placement.

The US-based streaming services provider plans to use the funds towards general corporate purposes.

UK-based online grocery platform Farmdrop has raised £7m ($8.96m) in a Series A funding round led by investment firm Atomico Investment Holdings.

Farmdrop plans to use the funds to develop new technology for farmers and enhance customer experience.

Both the companies involved in the deal are based in the UK.

Binary Subject Lda (operating as 360imprimir) has secured €4m ($4.29m) in funding from investment firms Omnes Capital SAS and Pathena SGPS.

ChannelAdvisor is an e-commerce solutions provider, while eBay is a multinational e-commerce corporation.
