UK-based clothing and home products retailer Next, along with Gino D’Acampo and Individual Restaurant, have formed a joint venture (JV).

Also based in the UK, Gino D’Acampo and Individual Restaurant owns and operates restaurant chains.

As part of the JV, prosecco bars and restaurants will be opened in Next stores.

American omnichannel retail software provider Mi9 Retail has received an investment from a global growth equity firm named General Atlantic.

"The funds will be used to support the software company’s growth opportunities and focus on new initiatives in order to provide better services to its customers."

Financial details of the investment have not been disclosed.
