Wayfair has announced the pricing for its proposed private placement of convertible senior notes to raise $375m in gross proceeds.

Due 2022, the notes will carry an annual interest rate of 0.375%, which is payable semi-annually on 1 March and 1 September of each year.

The proceeds are intended to cover the cost of the capped call transactions, as well as working capital and general corporate purposes.

Based in the US, Wayfair is an online retailer.

Lesara has raised $40m in Series C funding, which will be invested to drive the company’s expansion into Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, and the UK.

The funding round was subscribed to by new and existing investors in the US and UK.
