Sporting goods retailer Dunham’s Sports has partnered with prepaid commerce solutions provider CashStar to offer new eGift cards to its customers.
The digital gift cards can be bought on the retailer's website.
Dunham’s Sports stores offer an assortment of products related to fishing, hunting, apparel and footwear, along with athletics equipment and gear.
Responding to customer feedback, Dunham’s Sports added digital gift cards to its existing in-store gift cards.
Dunham’s Sports digital marketing managing director David Feld said: “CashStar Commerce checked all of the boxes we were looking for in a platform, from a simple, intuitive user experience to secure purchase processing integration.
"CashStar has been a fantastic partner and we look forward to an ongoing collaboration.”
The new gift cards can be chosen via the CashStar commerce platform, and customers will have an option to add personal messages for the recipients.
CashStar president and chief executive officer Ben Kapla said: “By digitising its gift card programme, Dunham's Sports can engage its customers with a convenient, personalized eGift experience."
Founded in 1937 as Dunham’s Bait and Tackle, Dunham’s Sports currently operates more than 225 stores in the US.
CashStar provides prepaid commerce solutions to retailers and restaurants such as Best Buy, Brookstone, Coach, Crate & Barrel, Dell, Dunkin’ Donuts, QVC, Sephora, Staples and Starbucks.
