US-based home furnishings retailer Hayneedle.com has expanded its executive team in a move to enhance its long-term strategic growth.
Acquired by Jet.com in February, the company also plans to continue to hire executives at all levels.
Under the expansion, Tom Clement has re-joined Hayneedle as vice-president of operations.
Clement will direct strategy and be responsible for the company’s supply chain, fulfilment, and engineering/facilities functions to improve reliability and existing cost savings innovations.
Hayneedle president and CEO Jon Barker said: “Expanding our team will enable hayneedle.com to build on the substantial growth we have experienced and provide us with added expertise to scale operations and pursue new, high impact services.
“We are expecting to exceed $500m in sales by end of year.”

With more than ten years of IT experience, Dekarske will lead the technology division of the online retailer by improving the user experience, speed and performance of the website.
Hayneedle has recruited Lindsey Johnson as director of talent acquisition.
The company is also hiring for several other positions ranging from entry-level to director roles in technology, human resources, operations, marketing, merchandising, customer care, and other units.
The hiring drive will increase Hayneedle’s team from 700 to nearly 1,000 through the end of the year.
