UK-based filling stations operator MRH GB has reached an agreement to acquire Chartman (Chartman Retail).

Also based in the UK, the target company operates petrol forecourts and a standalone convenience store.

The acquisition is expected to help MRH pursue its strategic objectives of expanding customer offerings and locations.

Apax Partners is set to purchase a majority stake in MATCHESFASHION.COM, with an agreement having been signed between the two companies.

The target company is a UK-based luxury fashion retailer, whereas Apax Partners is a private equity firm that intends to improve its position in the online luxury market.

Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) and Highland Europe, the existing investors in the target company, will continue to hold minority stakes in the business following the acquisition.
