US-based interactive retailer Shop LC has selected software as a service (SaaS) platform Yottaa for content optimisation for its desktop and mobile websites.

Founded in 2007, Shop LC reaches customers through live, high-definition programming, as well as an online channel on www.shoplc.com.

The company offers fine jewellery, beauty, fashion, home décor, and lifestyle product categories.

Yottaa is expected to improve site performance on both desktop and mobile devices.

Shop LC chief technology officer Vineet Vashisht said: “Part of delivering joy is being able to offer our customers a wide range of amazing products through our TV channel and our website in a fast and efficient manner.

"Through Yottaa, Shop LC will be able to continuously enhance shopper experience by adding more rich content and third party applications to its websites while still ensuring that pages on desktop and mobile sites load instantly."

The company tested Yottaa’s eCommerce Acceleration Platform, which is said to have increased the performance of its website.

Through the partnership, the company intends to enhance shopper engagement and achieve a better return on investment (ROI) for site assets, as well as increase online revenue.

Yottaa CEO Rich Stendardo said: “Through Yottaa, Shop LC will be able to continuously enhance shopper experience by adding more rich content and third party applications to its websites while still ensuring that pages on desktop and mobile sites load instantly so shoppers can immediately engage and buy the great products offered by Shop LC.”

The solution is set to replace the company’s existing content delivery network (CDN), which did not meet shoppers’ expectations.
