India-based Tata Unistore is to open its Tata CLiQ e-commerce platform later this month.
Available online and by mobile, Tata CLiQ will integrate the service and its bricks-and-mortar stores, in order to provide an omnichannel experience to customers.
The platform will sell footwear, apparel and electronics at first, and more categories and brands will be later added.
It will initially offer up to 80 brands, reported Techportal.in
Tata CLiQ chief executive officer Ashutosh Pandey was quoted by Digit.in as saying: "Clique and Click came together to form the perfect name for our platform, which curates authentic and exclusive products for customers with impeccable taste. A name that says shopping online is now so easy and trustworthy, that all it takes is a click."
"The ‘Q’ in the logo represents a magnifying glass, a visual representation of the brand’s focus on curating only the best brands and products."
