Online rental tuxedo destination The Black Tux has announced a retail partnership with Nordstrom. in addition to the opening of six shop-in-shop showrooms in selected Nordstrom stores across the US.

Nordstrom customers will experience The Black Tux's range of tuxedos and accessories for any type of event, as well as its style and fit expertise to offer a complete tuxedo rental process.

Under the partnership, all shop-in-shops will feature The Black Tux's two-button notch lapel tuxedo in black and one-button peak lapel tuxedo in midnight blue.

The newest seasonal collections available will showcase The Black Tux's range of styles, shirts and a wide selection of accessories.

Nordstrom men's merchandise manager Paige Thomas said: "Our partnership with The Black Tux gives us an additional opportunity to bridge the convenience of the digital world to our physical stores.

Customers can book an in-store style consultation online and visit the store.

Upon completion of the consultation and fitting, an online customer profile will be created that will store size information and tuxedo/accessory choices.

After the customer orders in-store or at a later time at theblacktux.com, the tuxedo will arrive two weeks prior to the event.

The tux and accessories can be returned after the event using the original delivery box and prepaid postage.

The first shop launched at the Nordstrom Orange County, and shops will expand to locations such as Washington, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle and Denver.
