US-based lifestyle company Tommy Bahama is set to implement business applications provider CGS’ BlueCherry B2B eCommerce solution.

The online and mobile sales automation solution offers end-to-end capabilities for apparel and consumer lifestyle brands.

The deployment of the solution is expected to allow the company to provide sales representatives, customer service and designers with up-to-the-minute product inventory data as they interact with buyers on styles and capture wholesale orders online.

“By adding BlueCherry B2B, our sales reps can quickly create visual assortments that match their buyer’s requirements and present them online or in person.”

Using BlueCherry B2B eCommerce, the company expects to access accurate, real-time sales analysis, order status and online inventory round the clock.

Tommy Bahama wholesale operations senior director Raymond Brown said: “With multiple products available through multiple channels, it is essential for our business to have real-time access to merchandise.

“By adding BlueCherry B2B, our sales reps can quickly create visual assortments that match their buyer’s requirements and present them online or in person.”

Global sales teams will have the ability to visually engage buyers, promote products, as well as select assortments and receive confirmed orders.

CGS Business Applications and Technology Outsourcing division president Paul Magel said: “By incorporating B2B eCommerce in the BlueCherry Suite of applications, Tommy Bahama will gain more accurate insight into its inventory, pricing and production information while ensuring sales reps are informed and equipped to make accurate product recommendations to their buyers.”

Using a private marketplace, CGS’s BlueCherry B2B eCommerce accelerates and simplifies the entire wholesale sales process.
