Wayfair to generate 160 jobs in Galway, Ireland

Online home furnishings and décor retailer Wayfair plans to create 160 jobs in Galway, Ireland, as part of its expansion strategy.

Online home furnishings and décor retailer Wayfair plans to create 160 jobs in Galway, Ireland, as part of its expansion strategy.

With a current workforce of 200 people in Ireland, the announcement was made as the company opened a 30,000ft² European operations centre in Mervue Business Park.

New positions include roles in business account management, recruitment, customer service, supplier operations, finance, business analysts, inbound sales, training and IT services.

Wayfair presently has a total workforce of 4,600 worldwide and customer service centres in Texas, Ireland, Massachusetts and Utah.
