Australia-based supermarket chain Woolworths has opened a remodelled store at Warringah Mall in Sydney, highlighting the first of its new generation outlet.

Remodelled following a multimillion-dollar investment, this upgraded outlet is aimed at providing customers with a better shopping experience, reported news.com.au.

The supermarket chain claimed that customer health will be the key focus of the next generation stores.

Woolworths format development director Rob McCartney was quoted by the website as saying: “Warringah Mall represents the largest investment to date in our store renewal program and has been designed following a great deal of time spent understanding what our local shoppers are looking for.

A large section in the upgraded outlet is allocated for health foods, bulk foods and nuts, while around 25 bays in one aisle will stock healthy food options.
