
Openbravo has secured a contract to deploy its POS software in the Openbravo Cloud and implementation services in all 61 stores of Toys “R” Us Iberia across Spain and Portugal.
The five-year contract also includes integration with SAP solutions ERP and Hybris for the deployment of a new end-to-end omnichannel solution.
Under the partnership, Toys “R” Us Iberia will be able to execute its new business strategy, following its recent acquisition by Green Swan.
Through the adoption of Openbravo’s POS solution in the Cloud, the retailer will transform the shopping experience in all physical stores.
Toys “R” Us Iberia CEO Paulo Sousa Marquez said: “We are pleased to have signed this contract with Openbravo.

Openbravo POS is a key component of the Openbravo Commerce Cloud solution and its adoption will allow Toys “R” Us stores to gain access to a range of assisted sales capabilities.
This will enable convenient checkout experience for customers and also supports Toys “R” Us Iberia’s omnichannel strategy.
Ensuring central management across all stores and terminals, the cloud deployment will also minimise total IT and maintenance costs.

Toys “R” Us Iberia, which opened its first store in Barcelona in 1991, has 51 stores in Spain and ten in Portugal currently.
