International fashion retailer Primark is expanding its presence in the northeastern US with a new store at Newport Centre, Jersey City, in the state of New Jersey, on 14 August 2025.

The new addition is the fourth Primark store in the state, ahead of the anticipated Manhattan opening in 2026.

The 35,700ft² store will offer a wide range of fashion, essentials, homeware and beauty products, providing what Primark describes as its signature combination of “style, quality, and affordability” to US shoppers.

Primark’s talent acquisition team is recruiting for both full-time and part-time retail employees for the new store.

Sales associate salaries begin at a competitive hourly rate of $15.00, plus incremental raises after six and 12 months of employment.

Customers can explore Primark’s Bluey-themed collection during the opening event.
