British fashion brand Ted Baker is planning to close all its stores in the UK in the late summer and early autumn of 2024.
This comes after the holding company for the brand’s European retail arm, No Ordinary Designer Label Limited fell into administration in March.
Taneo, the appointed administrator for the retailer, closed 15 UK shops in April, leading to 245 redundancies.
Employees at the remaining stores have been informed of impending job losses when the closures take place. This is likely to be during August 2024, as initially reported by the Sun newspaper.
The plans have not yet been finalised.
Before the insolvency proceedings, Ted Baker operated 46 stores across the UK, employing 975 people.
