Software company Verb Technology has announced a new integration between its MARKET.live platform and Meta’s social media apps Facebook and Instagram.

The collaboration enables a seamless, friction-free in-app shopping experience checkout process for users.

Users can browse products featured in MARKET.live shoppable videos, place products in a native shopping cart and check out without leaving the Meta apps.

The integration represents a notable advancement for MARKET.live, enabling the platform to feature vendor products on its own site and on Facebook and Instagram via shoppable content.

This creates a substantial increase in the potential customer base, catering to users who prefer to shop within their social media applications.

Verb CEO Rory Cutaia said: “This expansion with Meta underscores MARKET.live’s commitment to providing a seamless, interactive video-based shopping experience across multiple social platforms.

“By integrating with Meta’s platforms, we’re expanding our reach and providing a major enhancement to the unparalleled value we deliver for our brands, retailers, creators, affiliates, and influencers.”

Cutaia added: “This strategic initiative marks a significant milestone for MARKET.live. We look forward to sharing many more of the exciting innovations, partnerships and growth initiatives we expect to introduce as we continue to push the boundaries of social shopping through the convergence of entertainment and commerce.”

Verb Technology has positioned its MARKET.live platform at the intersection of e-commerce and entertainment.

The platform serves as a social shopping hub where brands, retailers, creators and influencers can engage and monetise their followers across their social media channels.
