Brazil-based white goods retailer Frigelar has awarded a three-year contract to data analytics and marketing services company Skyfii to deploy a full suite of IO Platform services across its stores.

As part of the contract, Skyfii will deploy IO Platform services such as IO Connect (data collection), IO Insight (data analytics), and IO Engage (marketing tools) across 31 Frigelar’s retail locations.

Established in 1966, Frigelar operates business in retail and technical services by offering a range of products to consumers and white good service technicians. It has a presence in 16 states of the country.

IO Connect will allow Frigelar to request information from their customers as part of the Wi-Fi registration process, and differentiate between technical and retail customer segments, as well as their in-store behaviour.

The retailer can use IO Insight to analyse the visitation behaviour of both groups and IO Engage to run marketing campaigns tailored to both the segments.

Skyfii chief executive officer Wayne Arthur said: “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Frigelar as a new client of Skyfii in Brazil. The need for physical retailers to understand more about their audience and differentiate customer segments is not unique.
