Asda has partnered with Deliverect as the grocer looks to simplify rapid delivery operations across its Asda Express network and broader store estate.

The arrangement is intended to support Asda’s digital commerce activity by connecting on-demand platforms such as Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo directly with store systems.

Through the integration, product availability, assortment and pricing are matched with Asda’s internal systems while order fulfilment is brought into a single workflow.

The platform is already operating in hundreds of Asda Express sites, and the rollout is set to continue into 2026.

According to the press statement, the system allows online orders to feed into in-store picking and fulfilment processes, improving operational efficiency and supporting accurate reconciliation and reporting.

As part of the partnership, the retailer has integrated several delivery channels within a single operational process.

This gives central teams a single platform from which to oversee trading hours, channel availability, scheduling and performance tracking.

The system is also intended to keep stock availability, product range and pricing aligned across delivery channels, reducing mismatches and limiting manual work.

Asda channel operations, wholesale and convenience senior director James Laws said: “Quick commerce is a key area of growth for Asda, and we have already seen demand for this service where it has been introduced at our Express sites.

“By partnering with Deliverect, we have been able to simplify processes for our colleagues, allowing them to provide the service that our customers expect when ordering rapid delivery.”

The agreement sits within Asda’s wider investment in digital infrastructure, as the retailer seeks to reduce operational complexity amid rising demand for multi-channel, on-demand grocery services.

Deliverect said its platform is built to work alongside existing systems, allowing integration without the need for a full replacement of current technology.

The partnership is also designed to give Asda scope for future development, including adding further marketplaces, linking with third-party logistics providers and launching new digital channels as its rapid delivery business develops.

Deliverect Northern Europe regional general manager Joe Heather added: “Asda has an exceptional team, and together we have built a model that works consistently in-store, supports central operations, and performs at scale across multiple channels.”
