Gardner White plans to open nine additional locations across Michigan and Ohio, US, with the first openings due to start in early 2026.
The US-based furniture and mattress retailer said the rollout will raise its store total to 30.
The expansion is set to broaden the company’s reach in western and northern Michigan, targeting communities such as Grand Rapids, Lansing and Traverse City.
It also marks an entry into the greater Toledo area in Ohio.
As part of the wider plan, Gardner White said its current store at W Oaks Drive in Novi, Michigan, will be repurposed into the business’s first outlet.
The outlet is expected to carry inventory that changes regularly, including floor samples from established brands.
The retailer also pointed to recent developments, including the opening of a standalone Gardner White Mattress store in Woodhaven last month, as well as the addition of seven Michigan locations during 2025.
Last year's activity included the introduction of its GW HOME concept in Detroit.
Gardner White CEO Rachel Stewart said: “For more than a century, Gardner White has grown alongside the communities we serve. These new store locations allow us to reach more families and bring our style, value, award-winning service, and signature same-day delivery to even more homes. This expansion reflects our belief in our state and region's long-term economic strength.”
