Croatia’s Konzum utilises Instaleap to scale e-grocery operations

The partnership will support the retailer in transforming e-commerce operations faster and at scale.

Croatia's supermarket chain Konzum has announced a strategic partnership with e-commerce platform Instaleap to enhance its e-grocery services.

Konzum is now part of an expanding group of retail companies using Instaleap to improve fulfilment processes and achieve tangible operational improvements.

The move represents progress towards its goal of influencing the evolution of digital grocery logistics.

The partnership aligns with Instaleap's objective of establishing ties with retailers to enhance e-commerce operations efficiently and on a large scale.

Konzum has more than 600 stores across 300 cities and towns and around 10,000 employees.

In 2024, Konzum's retail network experienced substantial transformations to upgrade its offerings, modernise stores and improve the overall shopping experience for customers.

The retailer’s total revenues exceeded €2bn in 2024, marking an 8.2% rise from the previous year. The increase in revenue stemmed mainly from elevated sales volumes and the introduction of new products.

Konzum has concentrated its strategy on digitalisation advancing omnichannel services, making technological progress and devising innovative solutions to provide customers with a more convenient and seamless shopping experience.

in 2024, Konzum reported a significant 13.2% surge in online sales revenue, fulfilling 229,000 orderrs. This underscores the escalating consumer demand for these services.
