Canadian athletic apparel brand Lululemon has inaugurated its first European airport retail location at London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5.

The 103m² store offers a range of products including the brand's signature leggings, yoga clothing and travel-friendly attire, aligning with the peak of the summer 2025 travel season.

For the two weeks following opening, Heathrow Rewards members who spend a minimum of £100 ($136.4) or more at the store will earn double points.

The new addition to the airport's retail offerings is expected to attract both fitness and fashion enthusiasts,.

Heathrow retail director Fraser Brown stated: "We are thrilled to welcome Lululemon to Heathrow, their first airport store in Europe. As we strive to make every journey better, the launch of Lululemon in Terminal 5 will give passengers the opportunity to enjoy their travel experience with added comfort and style. Lululemon has amassed a cult following for good reason, and we are excited to welcome such an iconic activewear brand to Heathrow.”

Lululemon's store further strengthens its strategic expansion in the travel retail channel, complementing its existing airport stores.

The outlet at Vancouver International Airport in North America opened in 2021. It has stores at both Changi Airport Terminal 1 and Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 in Asia.

Lululemon's financial performance underscores the brand's growth trajectory, with a 7% increase in net revenue to $2.4bn in the first quarter of 2025.

International revenue saw an even more impressive rise of 19%, as reported in its Q1 fiscal 2025 results.
