Nordstrom Rack to open five new US stores in 2026

The stores will open in Ohio, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia and Louisiana.

Nordstrom Rack, the discount retail branch of Nordstrom, has unveiled its plan to open five new outlets in the US in the autumn and spring of 2026.

The 23,800ft² new store in Canton, Ohio will be located within The Venue at Belden, a shopping centre that also houses Burlington, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.

It will contribute to Nordstrom's existing operations in Ohio, where the company currently runs three Nordstrom locations and eight Nordstrom Rack outlets, collectively employig 900 people.

The new store aligns with efforts to enhance customer accessibility and integration across its retail and online platforms.

The 24,500ft² store in New Jersey will be located in Deptford Town Center. It expands the retailer’s physical footprint in the state where it operates four Nordstrom stores and nine Nordstrom Rack stores.

In Massachusetts, the 23,700ft² store will be situated at Mansfield Crossing retail destination, owned and managed by WS Development.

The 25,000ft² Nordstrom Rack store in Williamsburg, Virginia will open at Settlers Market shopping centre.

The 27,000ft² store at Elmwood Center, Louisiana will open in spring 2026.

Nordstrom Rack president Gemma Lionello stated: “Customers will be able to take advantage of our convenient services such as online order pick up from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, and they can make returns easily.”

In November 2024, Nordstrom announced plans to expand the presence of Nordstrom Rack with a new store in Lakeland, Florida.
