India’s Reliance Retail has reported consolidated gross revenue of Rs904.08bn ($9.38bn) for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, marking a 7.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
The company attributed top line growth to double-digit gains in grocery, fashion and lifestyle, and consumer electronics.
Adjusted for the demerger of its consumer brands business, revenue growth stood at 11.6% YoY.
Profit after tax fell 14.2% YoY to Rs28.06bn while EBITDA from operations declined 1.8% YoY to Rs59.35bn, translating to an operating EBITDA margin of 7.4%.
The retailer expanded its footprint with 252 new stores during the quarter, taking its total network to 20,169 outlets across 78.4 million square feet, a 1% rise YoY.
Registered customers grew 10.6% YoY to 396 million, and transaction volumes rose 46.0% YoY to 568 million.
Unique customers served across formats increased 8.5% YoY.
By segment, consumer electronics recorded like-for-like (LFL) growth of 16% YoY, driven by demand across air conditioners, laptops, mobile phones and small appliances, while its ResQ services arm grew revenue by 27% YoY.
Fashion and lifestyle posted LFL growth of 4% YoY, with own brands' share up 380 basis points and digital commerce contributing 27.3% of apparel & footwear revenue in the segment.
Grocery LFL growth reached 7% YoY, led by staples, dairy and frozen & bakery.
The company noted that customers shopping across both online and offline channels spent 2.7 times more than offline-only shoppers.
The B2B business saw average bill value rise 15% YoY.
On digital operations, JioMart now serves approximately 5,500 pin codes, with more than 2,500 digital and fashion and lifestyle stores offering two-hour delivery.
Average daily orders on grocery digital commerce climbed 116% YoY, and digital's share of grocery B2C revenue rose 160 basis points to 13.4%.
