Australian luxury fashion retailer Zimmermann has named Roberto Eggs as its next CEO, effective 1 May 2026.

He will replace Chris Olliver, who has served as CEO since 2005.

Zimmermann said Olliver will transition into the role of executive chairman.

In a LinkedIn post, the retailer added that Olliver will remain “closely involved in supporting the brand’s long-term strategic direction alongside co-founders Nicky and Simone Zimmermann”.

Eggs is joining from Moncler Group, where he spent more than a decade.

During his tenure at the company, he also held the roles of chief marketing officer and chief operating officer. He most recently served as executive board member and chief business and global market officer.

Zimmermann said he contributed to the group’s “global expansion and strategic development”.

The retailer added the appointment comes at an “exciting stage” as the company “builds on its international expansion and continues to strengthen its position within the luxury landscape”.

Before Moncler, Eggs served as president EMEIA at Louis Vuitton and held senior roles at Nestlé and Nespresso.

He is also a member of the board of directors of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and has been part of Zimmermann’s board for more than a year.

Zimmermann is based in Sydney, Australia, and presents its ready-to-wear collections each season at New York Fashion Week.

Working with designer and long-time collaborator Don McQualter, the company operates stand-alone stores across Australia, Europe and the US, including flagship locations in New York and Los Angeles.
