US-based home décor and furnishings retailer Kirkland’s has partnered with logistics and transportation company Ryder to offer in-home delivery services in the US.

The partners previously tested the nationwide programme in more than 25 major domestic markets last month.

Kirkland’s in-home delivery service uses Ryder’s technology and capabilities to provide a new solution for delivery, light assembly and packaging disposal for a fee.

The partners plan to roll out the service across 48 US states by the end of this month.

The service is intended to improve Kirkland’s Home’s omnichannel capabilities and streamline its online and in-store customer experience.

Kirkland’s Home president and CEO Steve Woodward said: “Launching our new in-home delivery program through an industry-leading partner like Ryder is a pivotal milestone in the transformation of Kirkland’s Home.
