The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 10.14% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.

Top five retail companies in China IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 61.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China retail industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Alibaba Group Holding posted 183 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 76.54% over the previous month, followed by JD with 116 jobs and a 31.82% growth. Amazon with 43 IT jobs and adidas with 8 jobs, recorded a 4.44% drop and a 100% increase, respectively, while Inter IKEA Holding recorded a 20% decline with 8 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.49%, down by 62.17% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.45% share, a decline of 42.42% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.79% share, down 68.18% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.27%, recording a month-on-month decline of 93.33%.
