US-based company CVS Health’s IT hiring an increased 2.6% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 5.74% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 1.37% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.18% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops CVS Health IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by CVS Health, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 51.65% in June 2021, and a flat growth over May 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 15.38% in June 2021, and registered a 40% an increase. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.89% in June 2021, a 157.14% rise from May 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at CVS Health

North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 93.96% share, which marked a 1.79% growth over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 6.04%, registering a 450% month-on-month growth. was the third leading region with a flat share and a flat growth over May 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 93.96% share in June 2021, a 1.79% growth over May 2021. Spain featured next with a 4.95% share, up 800% over the previous month.United Kingdom recorded a 1.1% share, an increase of 100% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead CVS Health IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.34%, down by 8.47% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.02% share, a growth of 13.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.09% share, up 214.29% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.55%, recording a month-on-month an flat growth.
