Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that Toyota Motor filed the most environmental sustainability patents within the retail industry in Q1 2024. The company filed 9 environmental sustainability-related patents in the quarter, compared with 1 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Yanolja with 6 environmental sustainability patent filings, NIKE (5 filings), and Vipshop (5 filings) in Q1 2024.
