Top five retail companies in the UK IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 150.93% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK retail industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
J Sainsbury posted 179 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 188.71% over the previous month, followed by Ocado Group with 31 jobs and an 82.35% growth. Farfetch with 21 IT jobs and Tesco with 21 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 320% increase, respectively, while Phoenix Pharmahandel GmbHKG recorded a 20.83% decline with 19 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.5%, up by 50.86% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.13% share, a growth of 70% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.37% share, up 71.05% over May 2021.
