IT jobs claimed a 6.32% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2021, and recorded a 0.65% down over the last three-month average share.

Miscellaneous Computer Occupations tops Woolworths Holdings IT hiring in April 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Woolworths Holdings, Miscellaneous Computer Occupations emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 45.3% in April 2021, and a 23.32% drop over March 2021, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 36.03% in April 2021, and registered a 24.44% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.07% in April 2021, a 2.7% rise from March 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in April 2021 with an 80.66% share, which marked a 14.83% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 9.01%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.48% share and a 23.81% drop over March 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.85% and a month-on-month decline of 30%.

Australia commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 75.36% share in April 2021, a 13.39% decline over March 2021. the US featured next with a 9.01% share, down 50% over the previous month.New Zealand recorded a 5.3% share, decline of 31.03% compared with March 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Woolworths Holdings IT hiring activity in April 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.64%, down by 17.01% from March 2021. Mid Level positions with a 12.05% share, a decline of 33.58% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.31% share, down 47.92% over March 2021.
