The value marked a decrease of 60.7% over the previous quarter and a drop of 71.9% when compared with the last four-quarter average of $2.88bn.

Asia-Pacific held a 24.61% share of the global consumer industry venture financing deal value that totalled $3.29bn in Q2 2022. With a 10.74% share and deals worth $353.25m, China was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s venture financing deal value across consumer industry.

In terms of deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 175 deals during Q2 2022, marking a decrease of 20.09% over the previous quarter and a drop of 20.18% over the last four-quarter average. China recorded 73 deals during the month.
