The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 15.33% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 9.72% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.67% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops adidas IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by adidas, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 80.25% in April 2022, and a 66.67% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.58% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 45%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 3.7% in April 2022, a 50% rise from March 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at adidas
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 64.2% share, which marked a 44.44% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 28.4%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 6.17% share and a 400% rise over March 2022.
In the fourth place was North America with a share of 1.23% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 28.4% share in April 2022, a flat growth over March 2022. India featured next with a 28.4% share, up 228.57% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 28.4% share, an increase of 666.67% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead adidas IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.02%, up by 23.68% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 30.86% share, a growth of 38.89% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.11% share, up 50% over March 2022.
