The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.11% in January 2022 when compared with December 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.51% share in the company’s total hiring activity in January 2022, and recorded a 3.34% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops adidas IT hiring in January 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by adidas, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 89.66% in January 2022, and a 262.79% rise over December 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 6.32% in January 2022, and registered a decline of 70.27%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 4.02% in January 2022, a 600% rise from December 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at adidas
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in January 2022 with an 80.46% share, which marked a 600% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 11.49%, registering a 64.29% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 5.17% share and an 80% rise over December 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.87% and a month-on-month increase of 25%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 78.74% share in January 2022, an 1857.14% growth over December 2022. Germany featured next with a 6.9% share, down 70.73% over the previous month. US recorded a 4.02% share, an increase of 40% compared with December 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead adidas IT hiring activity in January 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 50%, up by 81.25% from December 2022. Entry Level positions with a 42.53% share, a growth of 335.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.47% share, down 13.33% over December 2022.
