The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.46% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the retail industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 17.85% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 5.02% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Finland’s retail industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Finland’s retail industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 87.8% in March 2022, registering a 29.41% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 4.88% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 4.88%, registering a 100% rise from February 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 2.44%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five retail companies in Finland’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 24.49% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Finland’s retail industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Wolt Enterprises posted 33 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 26.67% over the previous month. Kesko with 4 IT jobs and Amazon with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% decrease, respectively, while Zalando recorded a decline of 60% with 2 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 92.68%, down by 26.92% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.32% share, registered an increase of 50% compared with the previous month.
