The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.93% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.41% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.13% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry in May 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 46.88% in May 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 34.38% share, a decrease of 47.62% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12.5%, registering a 33.33% decline from April 2022.
4) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers captured a share of 6.25%, down 84.62% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 5.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Nestle posted 4 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a drop of 55.56% over the previous month, followed by Compagnie Financiere Richemont with 4 jobs and a 300% growth. Groupe SEB with 3 IT jobs and Pernod Ricard with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Groupe Bigard recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.88%, down by 46.51% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 21.88% share, registered a decline of 36.36% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.25% share, down 33.33% over April 2022.
