By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.81% in August 2022, registering a 6.52% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 22.89% share, an increase of 35.71% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 21.69%, registering a 35.71% decline from July 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.41%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five retail companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 1.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s retail industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Veepee posted 28 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 27.27% over the previous month, followed by Leroy Merlin with 12 jobs and a 20% growth. Carrefour with 11 IT jobs and Amazon with 10 jobs, recorded a 38.89% decline and a 37.5% decrease, respectively, while SMCP recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.72%, up by 4.69% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.25% share, registered a decline of 21.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.02% share, down 72.22% over July 2022.
