The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.59% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 5.04% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.26% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Haier Group IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Haier Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 41.18% in May 2022, and a 22.22% drop over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 30.88% in May 2022, and registered growth of 90.91%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 20.59% in May 2022, a 22.22% drop from April 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Haier Group
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 69.12% share, which marked a 7.84% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 30.88%, registering a 40% month-on-month growth.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 60.29% share in May 2022, a 12.77% decline over April 2022. US featured next with a 29.41% share, up 53.85% over the previous month. India recorded an 8.82% share, an increase of 500% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Haier Group IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.18%, down by 6.25% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.47% share, a growth of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 5.88% share, up 100% over April 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.47%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
