Inter IKEA Holding’s IT hiring activity declines 22.7% in July 2022

Netherlands-based company Inter IKEA Holding’s IT hiring declined 22.7% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 11.28% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.2% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.6% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Inter IKEA Holding, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.77% in July 2022, and a 23.38% drop over June 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 17.02% in July 2022, and registered growth of 60%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.45% in July 2022, a 56.25% drop from June 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Inter IKEA Holding

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 61.7% share, which marked a 20.55% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 17.02%, registering a 38.46% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.77% share and a 7.69% drop over June 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 8.51% and a month-on-month decline of 60%.

Netherlands commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 19.15% share in July 2022, a 30.77% decline over June 2022. US featured next with a 15.96% share, down 37.5% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.98%, down by 25.71% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8.51% share, a decline of 46.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.51% share, down 33.33% over June 2022.
