The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.8% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Inter IKEA Holding, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.79% in October 2021, and a 17.82% rise over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.87% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 38.46%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.94% in October 2021, a 33.33% rise from September 2021.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 17.92%, registering a 106.67% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 12.14% share and a 23.53% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was North America with a share of 7.51% and a month-on-month decline of 40.91%.
Netherlands commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 20.81% share in October 2021, a 5.88% growth over September 2021. Sweden featured next with a 16.18% share, down 45.1% over the previous month. Niger recorded an 11.56% share, an increase of 42.86% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.19%, down by 4.86% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 10.98% share, a growth of 18.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.67% share, up 15.38% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.16%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
