Netherlands-based company Inter IKEA Holding’s IT hiring rose 1.3% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.52% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 3.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 0.44% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Inter IKEA Holding, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.41% in November 2021, and a 26.27% drop over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.75% in November 2021, and registered growth of 29.17%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.38% in November 2021, a 75% rise from October 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Inter IKEA Holding

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 63.69% share, which marked a 15.25% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 17.2%, registering a 12.9% month-on-month decline. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 10.19% share and a 45.45% rise over October 2021.

In the fourth place was North America with a share of 8.92% and a month-on-month increase of 7.69%.

Sweden commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 17.2% share in November 2021, a 15.63% decline over October 2021. Netherlands featured next with a 15.92% share, down 30.56% over the previous month. Norway recorded a 10.19% share, a decline of 30.43% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.06%, down by 19.71% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.29% share, a growth of 60% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14.01% share, up 15.79% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.64%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
